Ideal Steel
What's the softest steel we've ever used to make an iron? S15C, which makes ZXi7 7% softer. ZXi5 and ZXiU face plates are also 14% softer. And ZXi4 now features the softer SUS17-47 for its body material.
Condensed Forging
Using softer steels enhances ZXi feel. But strength matters, too. To deliver both, we use condensed forging. Here's how it works;
THe hydraulic dies which forge red-hot bullets into ZXi irons imprint an array of raised features onto each rough iron shape. A second forge condenses those protrusions back into the clubhead, placing strength in those precise locations without sacrificing overall feel.
Heat Softening
Because condensed forging adds localized strength right where we need it, we have the freedom to re-optimize the temperature of our heat-treating ovens and produce our softest treatments yet.
What method of shipping do we use?
Majority of our packages are shipped via USPS or FedEx Ground. The method depends on the size and the weight of the item.
How long does it take to process an order?
We generally process all in stock orders within 24 hours from the time of purchase. Drop ship items or Special Orders generally take 7-10 business days to ship out from the manufacturer.
How much do you charge for shipping?
Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight of the package and your shipping address location.
What is drop ship?
Orders with drop ship only will be shipped directly from the manufacturer. As a result, fulfillment and delivery times may vary and be longer than our standard shipping.
