The Glide Forged Pro’s 8620 carbon steel head takes on a new look with a brushed finish, rusting over time and giving it a tour-preferred appearance. Along with the precision milled grooves and friction-inducing face blast, the raw finish is popular among tour players who rely on the Glide Forged Pro’s compact design and feel for precision around the green.
-
Before and After
With a brushed finish, the Glide Forged Pro’s 8620 carbon steel head rusts not long after putting the wedge in play, creating the raw look preferred by many tour professionals.
-
Tour Inspired To Inspire All
PING engineers conferred with our Tour staff and brand ambassadors in designing Glide Forged Pro to appeal to players who put a premium on precise, consistent shot making into and around the green.
-
Compact Profile, Captured Look
The smaller heel-to-toe head, which is forged from 8620 carbon steel, creates a captured look at address, giving you the confidence to manipulate the head and execute any type of shot with maximum versatility for predictable results.
-
Friction Face
Combined with a precision-milled face and grooves, a new face blast adds texture to the hitting surface, creating friction and more interaction between the club and ball for more spin and lower launch.
-
Fit To Your Game
Two grind options, “S” and “T”, in multiple lofts expand the offerings to ensure a wedge choice to match your angle of attack and most common playing conditions. Custom grinds are available through PING Wrx, where we custom build Tour and college equipment.
-
Lighter, More Control
The PING Z-Z115 wedge shaft is made by Nippon and custom engineered with a lower balance point closer to the tip to provide lower launch with more control and enhanced feel. The Golf Pride Tour Velvet features a state-of-the-art rubber-blend compound with a non-slip surface pattern for maximum playability and confidence.

NOTES
- These are design specifications that may vary due to manufacturing tolerances.
- Lie angle is based on Black Color Code at standard length.
- The standard swing weights shown are with the PING Z-Z115 steel shaft.
- Standard swingweights for graphite-shafted clubs are 2 to 3 points lighter than shown, depending on shaft flex.
- Achievable swingweights depend on shaft, length and grip combinations.
